What technical SEO means

It is everything that lets Google read and understand your site: addresses and redirects, indexable pages and duplicates, structured data, sitemaps, internal links, versions in several languages. It is not about the copy but about how the site is built, which is why it is best done by whoever writes the code.

Technical audit

I crawl the site with Screaming Frog and cross-check the results with Search Console data: pages excluded from the index, errors, redirect chains, wrong canonicals, duplicate titles and descriptions, broken internal links. The result is a prioritised list of fixes, with what is worth correcting right away and what can be left.

Structured data and rich results

I implement JSON-LD structured data relevant to the content, such as articles, products, breadcrumbs and business information. It can make a page eligible for the rich results supported by Google, without guaranteeing that they will appear.

Migrations and redesigns

When a site changes platform or structure, its addresses change and its rankings are at risk. I prepare the map of old and new addresses, set up 301 redirects, update internal links and sitemaps and check indexing after launch.

Multilingual sites

For multilingual sites I set up hreflang, localised addresses and sitemaps with the alternate versions, so Google shows every visitor the right language and does not treat translations as duplicate content. It is the same work I did on this site, in Italian and English.

Frequently asked questions

No: I handle the technical side, meaning how the site is built and how Google reads it. Copy and content strategy stay with you or with whoever handles editorial SEO, and I am happy to work alongside them.

It can, if addresses change without control. With a map of old and new addresses, 301 redirects and a check after launch, the risk drops considerably and any fluctuations stay temporary.

No: it makes a page eligible for the rich results supported by Google, but Google decides whether to show them.
